After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing
with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993, Ms. Lent went on to serve
as a commissioned officer on active duty in the US Army Nurse Corps.
Upon completion of 4 1/2 years of service, she transitioned to the US
Army Reserves. At that same time, Ms. Lent entered the nurse anesthesia
program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
She earned a Master of Science in Nursing in Nurse Anesthesia in 2000.
She was also certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
in 2000.
The majority of Ms. Lent's practice has been working as a staff nurse
anesthetist in Hawaii and Alaska. However, Ms. Lent has also worked as
a consultant for the law firm of Alston, Hunt, Floyd, and Ing and as
associate faculty at Hawaii Pacific University. Ms. Lent completed 10
years of active duty and reserve service with the Army Nurse Corps. She
is also a member of Signa Theta Tau International, the Honor Society
of Nursing. |
